According to Jesus, the gathering of the elect took place immediately after the destruction of Jerusalem (Matthew 24:29-34)It was at that time the first resurrection took place (Rev. 20:4-6)
In coming into his kingdom, Jesus Christ cleansed his threshing floor and all of the dead going all the way back to Abel, wee judged and consigned to ether the New Jerusalem or the Abyss, i.e Gehenna.Ā At the same time, the righteous saints who were found blameless at His coming were also redeemed (translated, or some might say, ārapturedā).Ā Ā Ā The resurrection was one of the first principles of the oracles of God because it directly relates to the āresurrection of the deadā and āeternal judgment (cf. Heb. 5:11- 6:8).Ā John, and all the apostles and prophets, whether living or dead, passed out of this land.Ā He was already perfected and residing in that Celestial city, New Jerusalem.Ā Ā Anyone claiming to be John on Patmos during the reign of Domitian or after the reign of Vespasian (69-79) was a false apostle, a minister of Satan (Rev. 2:2; 2 Cor. 11:13-15).
The Ante-Nicene Church Fathers represented those āfoolish virgins and false apostles who were left behind at the coming of the Lord (Matthew25:1-13) and the door was shut.Ā They were those whom the Lord rejected saying, āI know ye notā.
The ārest of the deadā (i.e., those living and dying after the start of the 1000 yr. reign is not resurrected and judged until the 1000 yrs. are finished (Rev. 20:5, 11-15).
